• Sundays are made to rest. These are the days when you take the time to take care of yourself to release your mind and body from the stress of the past week. It's cold outside, raining even, so what could be better than slumping down in front of The Big Bang Theory (or Gossip Girl or Game of Thrones, depends on what you like) wrapped up in a blanket with a nice smell tickling your nose ?

Alas... Today I'm sharing a disappointing product review signed Bath and Body Works. Back when I had a YouTube channel, I published a video about the brand in which I was definitely outraged : I had received a lot of broken products and I found the smell of the candles and most of the body mists artificial if not completely bad. It did take me some time to sort out the broken glass from the candles and questionable body mists.

But I did keep Vanilla Bean Marshmallow, I did love this one.

I appreciate vanilla smell wherever I can find it, be it in a shower gel, a candle, a body spray, a lipstick and even vanilla sugar. Then it's easy to understand why I have bought one 3-wick candle and a Mason Jar at the same time. I was optimistic, I did want to believe my purchase was a useful one.
This candle is part of the White Barn range and I dared try it out even though I had read several negative reviews saying that the candles from this range had too faint a fragrance when they burned. You know how there's always an exception to a rule ? Well now that's definitely not one.

It's the same price as the other 3-Wick candles, which is $22.50 when not on sale. If you're anywhere in the world where B&BW doesn't ship, you still have the option of buying off Ebay or V-Inc where it shall be around €25.

The brand has grandiose promises (in my opinion at least) : A comforting vanilla fragrance that evokes the sweetness of a homemade marshmallow. Yummy. When it's not burning, the smell of the candle is comforting alright. Sweet, delicious. Makes you want to stay at home.

Unfortunately when it's lit, the scent is barely noticeable. Oh how painful, what a betrayal. The wax melting is a beautiful sight but for such an expensive product to be inefficient is unforgivable (at any price actually). For sure, the smell is not intoxicating at all !

If you're a candle lover and love quality products... Don't go for this one !
