Maybe you don't know I am a sucker for Harry Potter, a knowledgeable Potterhead who belongs to Ravenclaw according to the oh so famous Pottermore website. I would have chosen Slytherin but I take much pride in belonging to Ravenclaw, house of those of wit and learning will always find their kind. I wouldn't be so proud to be an Erudite if the tag was about Divergent though...
Today, I've decided to answer the Ultimate Harry Potter Tag questions : I've erased and rewritten some of the questions and there are 22 left. Take a sip of your pumpkin juice and relish this magical moment !

    1. Favorite book ?
Just because everything starts with the first book (that's pure logic) I could choose HP and the Philosopher's stone. But my very favorite book is the Half-Blood Prince. I've bought my Half-Blood Prince copy at the Warner Bros Studios in London and I cherish it. I love the size and font (I think it's Garamond 12px as in the other books), the paperback book and the golden sticker on the front cover that was already on it when I bought it ! That's all so authentic !

    2. Least favorite book ?
The Order of the Phoenix, I'd say. That's a bit difficult to answer because I've watched the movie a few days ago and I understood many things I hadn't understood because, like Sirius going through the veil. Or maybe the Chamber of Secrets, just because it's a smaller book and there are less things to read !

    3. Favorite movie ?
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I've watched this one about twenty times at the very least, I love seeing London at the beginning of the movie and the magic that comes with the mysterious potions book !

    4. Least favorite movie ?
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. It's just a book that you have to read to understand the others but when it comes to the movies, the special effects and plot twists of the first two movies have nothing to do with the last movies !

    5. Favorite quote ?
Dumbledore has a thing for saying lots of witty things really, so I will not choose him. Maybe Draco's "My father will hear about this !" or McGonagall's "Glad to see you, Potter" in the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Or Sirius' "If you want to know what a man's like, look at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals".

    6. Favorite Weasley ?
The twins, Fred and George ! I'm still so down that Fred is dead. To quote No One from Game of Thrones, "Does death only come for the wicked and leave the decent behind ?".

    7. Favorite female character ?
McGonagall is badass ! Or Luna Lovegood who is so naive and sweet that both qualities mix within a very innocent person...

    8. Favorite villain ?
Helena Bonham Carter did an excellent job as Bellatric. But I also really like understanding Petunia Dursley... who was mean because she was sad and that you understand only when you read the books.

    9. Favorite male character ?
I have absolutely no idea. I really liked Sirius despite seeing him for a short time or Dobby, who was always loyal.

    10. Favorite professor ?
McGonagall or Snape. The first because she's strict, just and courageous, a motherly figure to Harry. The latter because his character will be tortured and continuously in danger from the beginning of the books until the end of the story.

    11. Would you rather wash Snape's hair or spend a day listening to Lockhart rant about himself ?
Snape's hair would be clean after 3 or 4 shampoos so I'll be done quickly !

    12. Duel an elated Bellatrix or an angry Molly ?
Molly ! Even if her magic's strong, Bellatrix surely knows more complex and darker spells and she isn't afraid of using the Unforgivable curses. Hell, I wanna live on !

    13. Would you rather travel to Hogwarts via the Hogwarts Express or the flying car ?
I'd love both ! But I guess the train would be less dangerous and I'd get a chance to try out all of the trolley's candy !

    14. Kiss Voldemort or give Umbridge a bubble bath ?
Voldemort how ? Before his soul got ripped into 7 pieces, when he was still a cutie pie ?
I'd rather give Umbridge a bath though she doesn't seem to really need it. If she reeks of cat though, straight to the bath without a question !

    16. Is there a character you felt differently about in the movies ?
Every character lost some depth from the books to the movies, that's normal though I think. Ginny is more of a kid in the movies and she's more mature and courageous in the books. Snape, Voldemort too... You can't tell everything in a movie or it'd last for too long but it's always a pity !

    17. Is there a movie you preferred to the book ?
Nope sir ! Still liking the books over the movies !

    18. Which house were you sorted into on Pottermore ?
Ravenclaw ! I felt I would have done well as a Slytherin but the Sorting Hat chose differently ! Well ! What can I say ? He knows better !

    19. Which spell do you think would be most useful to learn ?
The famous Summoning Charm, Accio ! So I wouldn't lose anything again !

    20. If you could own one of the Hallows, which would you choose ?
Most certainly the Elder Wand for the power of it, but I feel the cape would be much more fun to use day to day !

    21. Is there any aspect of the books you'd change ?
Fred wouldn't be dead. Also, I wouldn't have written the "19 years later part" so J.K. Rowling would write one or two more books...

    22. If you could bring one character back from death, which would it be ?
Sirius or Harry's parents or Fred Weasley which came as a shock to me. Or Cedric who hadn't asked for anything, poor guy.

Did you enjoy this tag ? Do it too !
