While I was writing this post...
I was thinking of the Juvia's Place palette to be released on Jan. 31 that I probably won't have.
I was listening to Tala - Talk 2 Me.
I was listening to Tove Lo - Habits (Stay High) - Hippie Sabotage Remix.

Yesterday I told you that I would show you my end of 2016 presents after showing you my Advent Calendar presents. I didn't publish any post for my birthday presents - I only got one present and I felt it would be better to include it in my Christmas presents post that do a post about it alone. I do not celebrate Christmas religiously speaking but we do benefit from the commercial side of it and offer some presents to each other in my family - just a reason to get each other some presents and make each other happy.
This year, I got presents from my parents, from work, from myself, from a colleague of mine and from one of my best friends, Romain. All I wanted was the ABH Moonchild Glow Kit but I ended up having a small number of other things too - the celebration was perfect.

My mom and sister chose a Cléor gold bracelet for me, a beautiful piece of jewelry that reminds me of DNA - in extenso, it does remind me of my family every time I look at it. I got myself a small wooden horse I found at Ikea and bought before leaving the company ; it means a lot to me. From my dad, I got money that I was going to spend on the Moonchild palette but that I finally kept because I was able to get the palette another way :D

For my birthday, my sister chose to get my an Equivalenza body mist - I thought I'd love the Rhubarb one that was in my birthday wishlist but when I finally got to smell it, I didn't like it at all but really liked the Iris one - which is the one my sis got for me !
Then, there are the presents I got from Sephora itself ; the first one being the L'Oreal Miss Manga Punky Mega Volume mascara that has become a favorite whereas I've just used it two or three times.

I also got two Sephora masks, an avocado hand mansk and a lavender foot mask as well as a Too Faced Waterproof Mascara Makeup Remover.
I got two Huda Beauty Bombshell mini lipsticks and Faux Mink falsies in Noelle #14. The best present is without a doubt the Anastasia Beverly Hills Moonchild Glow Kit palette that I was craving but didn't want to spend that much money on - one of my colleagues didn't use it so I was able to get it from her.

We had a Secret Santa at work and from Laura, another of my colleagues, I got the Lush Joy to the World gift set with Santa's Mailbox and the Dream Cream, an ultra-rich cream I love using on my hands.

From my friend, I got a L'Oréal Magique Pearl Powder - I thought it was an ultra glowy highlighter but I might have been mistaken and it might be a luminous powder for the whole face - I'll see when I swatch it.
I also got the last Sleek Highlighting Palette I was missing in Precious Metals - I swatched it in my Sephora and I fell in love with it.
My last present is one of my favorites since it's exactly what I like : a manmade blackish blue leather notebook from the unknown brand Fau'Papiers with Harry Potter engravings representing the Hogwarts Express and the Deathly Hallows. I was able to choose this notebook myself and I'm crazy about it. The thing is, I'm afraid to use it ! What are the presents you got this Christmas ? Do you know some of mine ?

So long, in the meantime, do come and chat on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram,
    Tissam.
